Considering Kodak's current financial troubles, it's nice to see this commercial from 1961, for their range of home movie cameras. As the advertisement says, "All America is Cameraland".

We Were Cameraland...
...but today it's only "Phoneland."
Home movies used to be personal and quite special, but not any more. This ad reminds one of a time when such things had real meaning and value.
Nowadays, Kodak is bankrupt and nobody shoots movie film to share with the family through a projector on a big screen or a white wall. More's the pity.
Those were the days...
